OK, my mind is on all things Valentine’s Day lately. I know some think it is just a made up holiday by the florists and card makers. I don’t care what anyone says, I LOVE IT! I’m pretty bummed that I am going to miss the kiddos Valentine’s Day parties at school because I have to work at the consignment sale all day. :-( The fun part is making the treats though!
Just thought I would share an idea for the guys (or anyone else for that matter). I seem to always have a hard time with these holidays when it comes to a gift for Chris. That is not the case this year. I have a great gift for him – Yea me! Still, I thought I would share this idea. He’s not a big chocolate fan (I really don’t understand how anyone could not be….) Anyhoo…on such occasions I like to make him his favorite homemade candy – Pecan Brittle.
This template is by my friend, Heather. It’s from an album kit she created a while back. I have decided to put together a Barnes Family holiday recipe album, and this is my first page. Super quick, fun and gorgeous. Love when most of the work is already done for me. ;-)
