I set several goals in the beginning of 2013. Some of them I have stuck with, and some of them not so much. One of my goals was to scrapbook more in 2013. Scrapbooking used to be something that I did almost daily. As life has gotten more and more hectic, it is one of the things that I have found less and less time to do. Unfortunate because I love it so.
I think I have scrapbooked more in these first 3 months of 2013. There are two main scrapbook projects I am concentrating on for this year. I am terrible about starting projects and not finishing them, so I want to finish the albums I have started. One of those is a 2011 family memory album. My plan when I started it was to highlight a few photos from each month. I’ve tried the 365 thing many years and utterly fail at it each time. Too much of a commitment. So I decided to not put so much pressure on myself and to just use the images I have from each month. I made great progress on my 2011 (yes 2011) album in 2012, but once I got half way through, I once again deserted the project. Well, I’ve picked it back up, and I am determined to finish it and have it printed in a bound album.
So today I put together my July page.

Doesn’t Stewart look so little there?! Sigh.
If I have any extra photos that I want to use one another layout. I’m just creating a layout with them and it will go along side the month highlight page. In July we took a road trip to the Smoky Mountains, so I did this page for that trip.

I’m so close now! Well, over half way done. I hope getting over that hump will be the motivation I need to stay on task.
